Best Christmas present ever!!!

So a couple of days ago it was confirmed - I've passed my dissertation, which means I've passed every element of my MSc, and pending paperwork will soon be a registered Speech and Language Therapist. Its quite emotional after such a long and difficult journey - the last year two years have been some of the hardest but some of the best ever. Its been amusing that my family aren't actually as excited as I am, because they always knew I could do it, whereas it took a good year before I realised I could :-)
I've truly loved learning. I've loved challenging myself and doing things I never thought I'd do, including a research project dissertation. I've grown in confidence and in commitment to this fab profession. I've had my views and values challenged. And yet I've worked 6 days a week, most weeks for the last two years! I've never worked so hard in my life.
I probably won't post on this as much going forward, but expect to see a few 'life as an NQP' blog posts from me once I start work in late January with my old team at CWPT (another thing I'm incredibly excited about).
For now, the focus is on celebrating Christmas with my family and a two week inter-railing adventure with my husband in January - we fly to Turkey and basically make our way back by train over two weeks! I literally can't wait.
